The Kink Curb BMX bike is a testament to Kink's dedication to producing top-tier BMX bikes for riders of all levels. Having been in the BMX industry since 1993, Kink has a rich history in BMX.

Founded by Aaron Zack Phillips, the brand started with a simple mission: to create durable BMX parts that could withstand the rigors of aggressive riding. You hear this a lot from most brands in the industry.

The 2023 Kink Curb is a shining example of this commitment to top-quality products no matter the skill level. Available in four colorways - Matte Midnight Black, Matte Gold Leaf, Matte Alps Blue, and Matte Mica Green - this bike is designed to give entry-level riders a taste of professional-grade equipment without breaking the bank.

Kink has used a tried and tested geometry setup, combined with top-notch components like the Kink T875 bars, 3-piece tubular chromoly cranks, and the Mission Control top-load stem, ensuring a smooth and responsive ride.

The softer Kink Ace grips with push-in Kink Thrust bar ends and the 2.4” tires on both front and rear wheels enhance the bike's comfort and control while keeping the whole product surprisingly cheap.

Having had the privilege to experience the Kink Curb firsthand, I can attest to its performance, especially in a skatepark. The hi-tensile steel frame isn't preferable on a BMX bike but it's what I expected from a bike this price.

The long chainstay is particularly beneficial for park riders, providing added stability and predicability. The combo seat is a clever design choice, merging the seat and seat post for a lightweight and streamlined look.

However, it's essential to note that while the Kink Curb offers many advantages, it does come with its challenges. Some riders have found the assembly process to be a bit tedious, with unclear instructions and several loose parts.
