As always, if you have anything to say about this weeks newsletter please feel free to reply.

NOTABLE MENTIONS

The UCI world championships have recently started in Chengdu, China. The first day resulted in Spain taking the team trials world title. Vital BMX have a great list of the top riders in this years competition.

The top 24 riders will advance into the semi finals on November 9th. The top 3 current riders are Rim Nakamura, James Jones and Logan Martin.

Read more on uci.org. They have a great write up about the top Spanish riders, that won this year's competition.

MUST READS

Éclat have long been coming up with interesting bike parts, nicely designed products that clearly have had a lot of thought go into them. Recently they announced the Seismic hub, a cassette hub with radically different internals to the standard spring and pawl system we’re used to in BMX. We sat down with Dave Paterson to find out how this hub was developed.

VIDEOS OF THE WEEK

What could be more obvious than doing a BMX edit in a country where the average person pedals more than 500 km a year? In Denmark - a country that has ranked as the happiest in the world in for several years, biking is a way of life. Kyle took full advantage of the laid-back lifestyle and love of all things two-wheels to explore some of the wildest and best places to visit in the Scandinavian country of Denmark.

His three-week journey saw him travel to the likes of Copenhagen, Aarhus, Jutland, Løkken, Falster Island, Møn Island and Klampenborg and perform tricks like paragliding with his bike onto a beach, ride in an underwater aquarium with sharks and take his bike on roller coasters, cliffs, boats and planes.

Fabio Wibmer created a fun little RAW edit on his downhill bike back in summer in Saalbach. It's an awesome little edit, especially with the mix of point of view filming alongside a sick drone chasing him along a pro downhill track.
